And yet another thing breaks…

Seems like everything around here is falling apart.

This morning when I went to turn on my laptop, absolutely nothing happened. Well, not nothing. The power light comes on and the light that shows that the laptop is plugged in came on too. But no POST, no display, or anything (no hard drive activity or fan noise or anything). Before you suggest any fixes, here’s all that I’ve tried:

The Blind Side Movie Review

The Blind Side is a film about a young man from the Memphis projects named Michael Oher. Football movies have always been my favorite and I was really surprised by this one. I didn’t know what to expect from this DVD other than looking at the photo on the case. This true story is not your typical underdog team football movie. There is football in this movie but it’s not a football movie. It’s about a lady named Leigh Anne Tuohy who reaches out to Michael Oher in his time of need.

Prometheus Review

I’ll admit it: half of the reason I own Prometheus, Ridley Scott’s latest foray back into the world of science fiction, is because, when the movie hit theaters, an online promotion promised me two free tickets if I pre-ordered the Blu-ray. Despite never getting my two free passes, I kept the pre-order because I had yet to see the movie and so my expectations were sky-high, and I still kept it after seeing the movie because I am lazy.
